USA (AMERICA)

Citizens of the EU can apply for an ESTA to enter the United States if the purpose of the trip is tourism or a business trip (Please check if you are eligible for an ESTA before your travel).

Please note: If you are transiting through the USA, even if you do not leave the airport/transit zone when transferring, ESTA is needed in any case!


Production of ESTA in 1 working day: 90 EUR

Required documents:

  • Passport (copy/scan). According to ESTA, only holders of bio-metric passports can enter the United States!
  • Visa application form (filled by agency)

Tourism Visa processing (if applying in Riga): 7-30 working days*

Visa cost (applying in Riga): 

  • Visa for business and tourist trips (B1/B2**): 605 EUR (visa fee included, assistance with paperwork (filling in forms, preparing a package for submission, etc.) delivery by bicycle courier) 


*Please note that different countries, have different USA visa processing times!! If you wish to apply for a US visa in any other location than Riga, Latvia, please let us know before applying, the processing times and prices to be specified, depending on your situation.

** We also offer other types of visa applications, please specify your request when booking.


Required documents:

  • Passport (passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of return from the trip and with at least 2 blank pages)
  • Your old passport with previous US visas, if available and accessible
  • Non immigrant Visa Electronic Application (done by agency)
  • 1 color photograph (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm), the photo must be no older than 6 months
  • Justification of the visit (what you plan to do in the US)
  • Proof of address of residence in the US (or hotel reservation)
  • Financial justification for the visit (equal to the minimum living wage per week in the US)
  • Letter from the place of work, indicating the position, date of employment, salary and period of leave granted
  • Statement of the bank account for the last 3 months
  • Marital status certificate (translated into English),  if available and accessible

Each application and situation is considered separately, additional documents may be required. A complete list of documents is issued when filling out a visa application form!


US Consulate in Riga - visiting days: Tuesday-Friday. Only by appointment, with a pre-prepared visa application form.
