You need to apply for a visa for Vietnam before traveling.
Citizens of the EU can:
Apply for an electronic visa in advance. The e-visa allows a single or multiple entry for a maximum stay of no more than 90 days.

E-visa processing time: 1 - 4 business days
- E-visa fee (single entry): 60 EUR
- E-visa fee (multiple entry): 95 EUR
Documents required for obtaining an e-visa (for citizens of EU):
- Scanned copy of passport (JPEG format) The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of return from the trip and with at least two free pages.
- Scanned color photograph (JPEG format)
- Scanned copies of air ticket and hotel reservations (description of the tour/route)

To apply for a visa it is necessary:
- Passport (passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of return from the trip and with at least 2 blank pages);
- 1 color photo (size 4 × 6 cm);
- Copy of air tickets;
- Copy of hotel reservation;
- Visa Application.
