✨ Tour Description:

Day 1
Meeting at Riga Airport. Flight Riga–Catania (~14:25–16:55). Transfer to hotel in Calabria. Accommodation at Villaggio Club Altalia 4★ or 3★ holiday apartment complex (HV-Holiday Village). Optional dinner at hotel (extra charge).

Day 2
Breakfast. Free day at the seaside. Optional dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3
Breakfast. Excursion: Mythical Scilla and Reggio di Calabria (bring swimwear). Highlights: promenade "the most beautiful kilometer in Italy", Greek walls, Roman Baths, Cathedral, Corso Garibaldi, National Museum of Magna Graecia with Riace bronzes. Then travel to Scilla – medieval town at the closest point to Sicily, visit Ruffo Castle, Church of the Holy Spirit, and Chianalea fishing village. Return to hotel.

Day 4
Breakfast. Excursion: Musaba and Gerace (entrance fees: Musaba €10, Gerace Cathedral €3, St. Francis Church €3). Musaba – outdoor art museum and artistic lab. Optional authentic lunch €25. Continue to medieval Gerace on a 500m-high cliff, famous for its Norman Cathedral and legends. Return to hotel. Optional dinner.

Day 5
Breakfast. Excursion: Ghost Town of Pentedattilo and Flavours of Calabria. Visit scenic abandoned town on Mount Calvario shaped like a hand. Learn legend of Count Alberti and tragic family feud. Return to hotel. Optional dinner.

Day 6
Breakfast. Optional excursion: Tropea – Pearl of Calabria and Medieval Pizzo (€50 + entrance €6.50). Visit Tropea’s historic center, palaces, Cathedral, and sea views. Continue to Pizzo to see 15th-century Aragon Castle (site of Murat’s execution), Baroque Church of St. George, and try the famous Tartufo ice cream. Return to hotel. Optional dinner.

Day 7
Breakfast. Free day at the beach. Optional dinner.

Day 8
Check-out. Breakfast (lunch box). Transfer to Taormina – the “jewel of Sicily”, walk through Corso Umberto, Greek-Roman Theatre, Naumachia ruins, Piazza IX Aprile, Cathedral Square, and Fountain of the Minotaur. Continue to panoramic tour of Catania: Roman amphitheater, Via Etnea, Cathedral, Elephant Fountain, St. Francis Square, Teatro Massimo Bellini. Transfer to airport. Flight Catania–Riga (~17:40–22:00).
